ENTRY-LEVEL MACHINE OPERATOR - DIE CUT LABELS (see
other positions)
Daytime weekday position.
Operate and
set-up machines that manufacture labels. Includes assisting
on the jobs requiring one and two-color printing. Be capable
of running moderately complex blank label jobs like
specialty plastics, lamination, or fan folding. Get help as
needed to adjust tools for special jobs including
underscores and perforators. Adjust and operate the core
cutter. Use the rewinder. Make product of the highest
quality so it is packaged and presented well and will ship
without any damage. Demonstrate reliability in making the
product to the specification including correct material,
exact quantity and holding tolerances.
Responsibilities
Set-up and
operate Mark Andy and Aqualflex label converting machines
Assist on
multicolor jobs including back printing
Have the
ability to ship finished products
Have the
ability to operate jogger, shrink wrapper, and other
finishing equipment
Follow safety
rules and regulations, wearing proper safety equipment when
necessary
What we want

gear-driven machinery

Team player with good communication skills
Basic math skills including decimals and
fractions
Have ability
to lift up to 70lbs
