retailers and distribution centers require UPC codes on products and
boxes. Once you have been assigned your UPC code number
from the
GS1 US (formerly the
Uniform Code Council)
you can print this UPC barcode number directly onto the packaging of your product or you can use
UPC bar code labels. If you choose to use labels, we can print the
UPC labels for you and assure you of the
highest quality scans. Or you can print the bar code
labels yourself using
bar code printing
software, blank labels, and a printer.

Purchasing pre-printed UPC barcode labels makes sense if you need your
labels in a hurry, do not have the time or personnel to print, or do not want to
invest in specialized UPC bar code software and printers. Plus a major factor in scanning success
is determined by the bar codes print quality. Some retailers penalize
consumer goods manufacturers if the barcodes on the product are below
UCC standards. Our modern equipment,
quality materials, and quality control standards allows us to produce
labels that exceed the UCC's minimum passing grade for retail UPC bar
code quality.
