Materials for Museum and Library Labels
Electronic Imaging Materials, Inc. understands libraries and museums have very special labeling requirements. Care must be taken to preserve books and artifacts. The labels that are used must not to damage the articles and or loose their traceability. This list shows some of our most popular museum and library materials; it is only a partial list however. | 826 | This environmentally-friendly, acid-free tag is extremely durable to provide excellent tear, water, oil, grease and weather resistance. 100% recyclable, laser and inkjet printable. |
| 829 | Lignin-free, this paper comes with a cleanly removable adhesive that works on rough or curved surfaces. Not recommended for PVC. Lsaer and inkjet printable. |
| 830 | A general-purpose laser paper with a permanent adhesive, this material works well in a lot of library and museum applications. Laser and inkjet printable. Comes in Stock Labels and custom sizes. |
| 839 | For extra durability, this laser polyester is your best choice with heat and water resistance. It comes with a strong all-purpose adhesive and an anti-static liner. |
| 857 | This laser vinyl (PVC) has a matte scuff resistant coat for good toner anchorage. The strong adhesive has good quick-stick qualities. |
| 1812 | An acid-free, ground-wood free paper, this material has a proprietary removable adhesive that is good for hard plastic, metal, glass and paper. It also works on challenging surfaces such as wax, textured PVC and corrugated. Laser and inkjet printable. |
| 1817 | This too, is an acid-free and ground-wood free paper but it is opaque and good for covering up information. It comes with an aggressive permanent adhesive. It is a good laser material for long-term archival storage applications. |
