Cryogenic Label Materials
Bar code labels need to remain clear and easily readable even under the toughest of conditions in order to be properly scanned. Some labels perform better in the lab processes than others. Below we have listed some of our popular CryoLabel® materials with some of their characteristics and features. | White TT CryoLabels® | Our popular White CryoLabels® are specially engineered with a thermal transfer plastic and a unique adhesive perfect for vials and plates stored at ultra-cold temperatures. They come in 8 Stock Sizes, our special Wrap-N-Vu design or they can be made to order. Recommended Printing Ribbon: T84/T85. |
| Clear TT CryoLabels® | Our thermal transfer Sens-A-Mark™ CryoLabels® are for vials stored at extremely low temperatures. They are made with a clear cryogenic plastic to which we add a special solid print block and enough clear material to wrap around a tube and over your print for extra protection. We offer both custom sizes and one stock size; as well as a special 2-part set called Cap and Wrap CryoLabels® Recommended Printing Ribbon: T68/T69. |
| Laser Paper Labels | This specialty-coated, water-resistant laser paper comes with extra-aggressive adhesive that works well in very cold temperatures (down to -65°F). Available in 8.5" x 11" sheets in Stock Sizes and custom made. |
| Laser Plastic Labels | Opaque white laser plastic specially designed to withstand liquid nitrogen temperatures and provide excellent opacity for cover-up applications. A slight label overlap is recommended on small test tubes. |
